Okay.

I finally got Chyrp working at the root URL for Vastermonster.com. It’s pretty amazing to think where this site started out. I think I was going for the as shitty as possible look. I’ll be pulling just a little bit of the old content in with links to my old projects and back-dating the posts. Hopefully I can get del.icio.us and Flickr integrated into this thing. There’s no module available for them so I might just have to write my own this time. I’m loving this so far though. Should be a great platform to allow me to blog more often. Wordpress was just to much for me and I’m already posting on Flickr, Twitter, and del.icio.us all the time, so I hope I can get those integrated soon. Wish me luck!

My Bad

So it turns out that my original SFTP upload of all of the Chyrp files didn’t finish. The real problem was the style of the admin section. Well, the css file wasn’t there. I thought there was some magic mod_rewrite action going on. Oh well.

Now I get to move on to making this stuff work the way I want and replacing the current Vastermonster homepage with the Chyrp install. Now to get my own mod_rewrite magic working. ;)

Just getting started here. I’m trying out Chyrp for replacing my custom code for Vastermonster.com. Still having issues with .htaccess with Joyent so hopefully I can figure it out soon. What a pain!
